A test with invited people

Your data in this test

This app is a prototype, tried by a few invited people. Here is what it keeps about you, who sees your questions, for how long, and how to have it removed.

What the app keeps

  • Your name and email address, from your sign-in, and when you last signed in.
  • Your conversations in Ask: each question, its answer and the lookups made to answer it. You can rename or delete a conversation yourself.
  • What each answer cost. It counts towards your daily limit and the test's monthly budget, so the amount stays when you delete a conversation.
  • In your browser: the sign-in, and your display choices.

Who sees your questions

  • Answers are written by Claude, an AI model of Anthropic. To write each answer, your question, the earlier questions and answers of the same conversation, and what the lookups found are sent to Anthropic.
  • The person running the test can read what the app keeps, to look after it and see how the test goes.
  • No one else. Your questions are not sent to any other service, and the app's recording of questions for analysis is off.

For how long

Until the test ends. Then everything kept about every person in the test is deleted; only the amounts spent stay, with no name attached.

Backup copies, kept so that a mistake can be undone, are removed within about two months of a deletion.

A copy, or removal

Ask André Bucher at any time for a copy of everything kept about you, or to have it deleted. Deleting it also ends your access to the test.
